The Language Centre, (English as a Foreign Language) UCC (Irish University of the Year 2003-2004 and 2005-2006), offers intensive and part-time English language courses year round. Courses in English for General, Academic and Professional purposes. Foundation Programmes and a Diploma in Advanced English Language Studies. The courses place an emphasis on developing the learner’s communicative ability, and also equipping them with techniques to develop their learning outside the classroom. Offering IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE and BEC Examinations. CELTA and DELTA Teacher Training Programmes. Highly qualified/experienced teaching staff. Small class sizes. Excellent facilities.
